I’m proud to announce our first ever collaboration with Transcend Beer Crafters,
The Big Dipper Ice Cream Parlour, and LaBonne’s Markets. We got together for our brew day the other day, mixing together the ingredients for our “LaBada Bing! Milk Stout”; an ice cream flavored beer [7% ABV] brewed with dark chocolate, sweet cherries, vanilla, and lactose. We can’t wait to share this brew with you!

What makes me the most excited about this project is the opportunity to work together with such amazing small businesses. Transcend Beer Crafters is a Southington CT based microbrewery that has earned a reputation for thinking “outside the can” crafting some tasty and eclectic brews you won’t find anywhere else. The Big Dipper Ice Cream Parlour in Prospect CT has been serving up homemade premium ice cream for years, including their first collaborative ice cream with LaBonne’s Markets called “LaBada Bing!” Made with The Big Dippers famous vanilla ice cream, it’s stuffed with juicy bing cherries and dark chocolate chunks. This tasty treat is the inspiration behind our collab beer. It has also turned into LaBonne’s #1 seller in the ice cream aisle. In fact, they can barely keep it on the shelves.
Shout out to Jared Andrews at LaBonne’s Markets for making this collaboration happen. Since 1962, Labonne’s has been committed to providing the friendliest service, tastiest food and supporting local businesses. Did I also mention they offer an incredible selection of local Connecticut craft beers too? Well, they do (props to Lawrence O’Brien). Grabbing #CTBeer to go is like a cherry on top when you shop at this beloved family owned grocery store.
Lets face it – we’re all trying to adapt and survive in this Covid world. We here at CTBeer.com believe the only way to get through these challenging times is together, one beer at a time.
