The Vibes Phantom is in Hartford in a building with other businesses. Once you walk in the first thing you notice is the huge mural that is on the wall on the left-hand side. It’s a mural of trees, bridge, buildings, and the sky. You then notice the bar with the taps behind it. Behind that you see all the Mugs for the mug club members, two massive TVs above them, and merchandise on the far wall. It is very much almost industrial looking. Which, in my opinion is very cool. They have a wide range of different types of beer. You can get a regular pour of them or a flight. The flight comes with 4 different kinds that you can pick out. They offer around 14 beers on tap with more coming each week. They are known for Do It for The Graham which is a Sour, as well as King Tut and Double King Tut, which are both IPAs. The beers range from sours, to Berliners, hazy IPAs, Stouts and just recently a German beer. They also carry snacks from The Drunk Alpaca and have kielbasa. Recently, they started a partnership with Curbside Chef’s Food Truck that is on site Thursday thru Sunday. The Story Phantom Brewery is a fairly new brewery that opened up in April 25th 2020. It opened during the Corona Pandemic, with curb side sales to go. Phantom was started by two friends, Jon & Bo. With Bo and Jon they come up with many different types of beer to brew. You can tell how much they love what they do and their love for beer by the actual beers they make. Phantom is open Thursday 3-7, Friday 3-8, Saturday 12-6 and Sunday 12-5. The one thing that sets Phantom apart from the other breweries is that it started off as a store for home brewing and wine making. The store is still there in the back. They have everything you need to brew your own beer at home and make your own wine. They also offer classes that teach you how to make both. Phantom is a brewery that should be on everyone’s radar.
